Individual Psychotherapy for Adults

About Me

Welcome,
I am a medical doctor, a practitioner of cognitive behavioural therapy. In 2021, I obtained a Master's degree in medicine at Vilnius University. I am currently working as a medical doctor and am a resident of psychiatry. I provide psychotherapeutic help to adults and help with various psychological difficulties by applying scientifically based, modern psychotherapeutic methods. I invite You to get to know yourself again and find ways to help You live a full-fledged life together.

Methods

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is becoming more and more popular type of psychotherapy, which has been scientifically proven to be effective. Cognitive and behavioural therapy is based on the scientifically proven fact that a person's well-being is determined by his or her thinking, i. y. how we feel doesn’t depend on what happens to us, but on how we understand what happened to us. We are used to believing and saying the opposite: events or other people make us angry, sad, anxious, or happy. However, it is obvious that different people in the same situation may perceive and interpret it differently, and therefore experience different feelings. In the process of therapy I also use the techniques of schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, meditation, relaxation.
