Individual Psychotherapy for Adults

Psychiatrist Consultations

About Me

Hello,
I am a psychiatrist and CBT practitioner. I earned my Master of Medicine at Vilnius University in 2021 and completed my psychiatry residency in 2025, after which I began working as a psychiatrist at the private MB Serenitus clinic.

I wanted to be a doctor from a young age and I truly love my work, so I can offer genuine care. If you are currently facing inner challenges, I invite you to pause, take a fresh look at yourself, and together we can look for ways to feel better and build the life you strive for.

Methods

You can contact me for psychiatrist consultations or for long‑term psychotherapy. I provide both psychotherapy and psychiatric care for adults aged 18 and over.

As a psychotherapist, I use modern, evidence‑based CBT methods, and as a psychiatrist I apply scientifically validated pharmacological interventions (when needed) and treatment plans based on international clinical research, combining them with individually tailored psychotherapeutic tools.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an increasingly popular psychotherapy approach whose effectiveness has been confirmed by scientific research. CBT is based on the scientifically proven fact that our well‑being is determined by our thinking — how we feel depends not on what happens to us, but on how we understand what has happened. We are used to believing and saying the opposite: that events or other people make us angry, sad, anxious or happy. However, it is evident that different people in the same situation can perceive and interpret it differently, leading to different emotional experiences. In therapy, I also incorporate Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, meditation and relaxation techniques.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The duration of psychotherapy is individual and depends on the origin of the difficulties and the goals we set. In CBT, at least 12 sessions are often needed, but it can take months or even longer for deeper issues.

This is not recommended. Attending less frequently significantly reduces effectiveness; exceptions can be discussed individually.

No referral is needed. MB Serenitus clinic is a private institution, you can apply directly.

  • Psychiatrist is a medical doctor who can perform medical assessment, diagnose mental disorders and prescribe appropriate treatment (medication and non-medication).
  • Psychologist performs psychological assessments and provides counselling, but does not prescribe medication or provide psychotherapy treatment.
  • Psychotherapist can be a psychologist or a doctor with postgraduate psychotherapy training. Psychotherapists provide sessions based on a method (e.g., CBT, psychodynamic therapy, EMDR).

A psychiatrist consultation focuses on medical assessment, diagnosis and, if needed, treatment (medication, tests, recommendations). A psychotherapy session is ongoing talk-based work focusing on emotions, thoughts and behaviour change and long-term outcomes.

Psychologist consultations are usually short-term and advice-oriented. Psychotherapy is a structured, evidence-based process aimed at deeper and more lasting changes.

Yes, if your health insurance covers psychotherapy or psychiatrist services. Invoices can be issued for your insurer. Please check your policy specifics.

Absolutely. All conversations are confidential, except in situations required by law (e.g., serious risk to life).

No specific documents are required. If you have previous test results, medication lists or other doctors’ summaries, bringing them can be helpful.
